Victoria Kuhl is a communications and local government specialist with expertise in managing complex and challenging issues and bringing about positive results. She enjoys working in a team and consortium setting.

Ongoing experience as a consultant and corporate board director as well as a former elected official and as a public sector regulator affords a solid base of knowledge that benefits her clients. A respect for clear communication and structured consultation means working with clients is professional, pleasant and results in winning solutions.

Management Expertise

A strategic thinker and people connector Victoria Kuhl, maintains vision as well as manages project details. Her expertise includes managing project teams, facilitating public meetings and consulting for a “start up” technology consortium. She has been invited as a speaker to national and international conferences, has excellent public relations, communication, and organizational skills. Regulatory Experience

As a founding member and Vice Chair of the former Gaming Commission, from 1987 to 1993 Victoria played a key role in developing the regulatory framework for gaming in British Columbia (BC). She was appointed Licensing Authority for the Province and was a member of the National Association of Gaming Regulators of North America (NAGRA). She instrumental in introducing a province-wide consultative process for policy and regulatory change in a politically sensitive climate.

Victoria's administrative tribunal experience includes six years as chair of gaming industry licensing appeals and four years as a medical member of the Canada Pension Review Tribunal. In 2008 Victoria was appointed to the new BC Health Professions Review Board and serves both as a mediator and tribunal member. She is a member of the BC Association of Administrative Tribunals (BCAAT).
